The International General Certificate for Secondary Education is one of the globally accepted educational programmes for school students in trend for the past few years now. The students of this curriculum take a test that is marked and certified by the University of Cambridge, qualifying them to apply to almost all internationally recognized educational institutions without hindrance. Ellys provides its IGCSE students with specimen papers and solutions to the same. The portions will be covered ahead of time and revisions are an important part of IGCSE prep at Ellys. Our IGCSE English tutors help the students to improve their writing, speaking, reading and listening skills through various interactive activities and assignments. The International Baccalaureate Programme for high school students is the best curriculum there is to be accepted in a smooth process to many top-rated universities across the globe.The IB DP enriches the overall educational experience of its students and offers challenging learning methods to acquire applied knowledge and skills. Ellys prepares IB DP students to courageously face their evaluative tests and score well in their ToK, EE and Creativity, Action and Service components. The tutors at Ellys also provide concentrated guidance to students who require help with their Extended Essay and ToK alone. Students are given specimen papers to work on and they will also be solved and discussed in class. We do not have a fixed curriculum for all our IB students because we understand that the requirement of each student is varied and while one student might have trouble finding the perfect IB vocabulary for composing their essay, the other might seek to enrich their literary skills.

ELA

English Language Arts (ELA) is a widely taught subject in schools in the United States. It tests students' understanding of the English language. It aims at developing the student’s comprehension as well as capacity for use of written and spoken language. The subjects in ELA include reading, spelling, literature and composition. Our ELA tutors use a balance of fiction and non-fiction resources with emphasis on details and textual evidence, to help students improve their fluency and comprehension of the English language. GCSE English

The General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) is an academic qualification, generally taken in a number of subjects by students in Secondary Education in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Studies for the GCSE examinations generally take place over a time period of two or three academic years (depending upon the subject, school, and exam board), starting in Year 9 or Year 10 for the majority of students, with examinations being sat at the end of Year 11. GCSE English is held in extremely high-regard throughout the UK. Many universities will ask for this GCSE as part of the degree qualifications.
